Traditional fare at an alpine hut
Halfway up the mountain rustic alpine huts entice you to linger for a while. A number of them are staffed in the summer months and serve home-made specialities.
Adventurous climbers, leisurely hikers and strollers: We have something for everyone. Numerous tended and signposted hiking paths make the huts and summits accessible. If you don’t want to aim too high, there is enough to explore around Grassau. For example do you know our natural moorland in the Kendlmühlfilze?
Hiking with our guides
If you don’t want to set off on your own, we can offer guided walking tours. Join one of our guided tours which take place every Tuesday during summer. We look forward to seeing you!
Our hiking paths are all well signposted. You can collect hiking maps with suggestions for tours from the tourist information office in Grassau.
